Flashback Fridays With Danny Stu

So I was a little off the ball for Throwback Thursday, but it’s all good, because now we have Flashback Friday. This video was one I did back in 2010 with one of the OGs himself, Travis Steward. I myself am not a fan of whomps on whomps on whomps but Travis did work with this one. I didn’t even know what the term “dubstep” meant when this video was done, had no idea what the hell we were listening to. But it ended up being cool and that’s what it’s all about. So whether you are into the Disco Pogo jam or not, bump the shit out of this video and watch the rippers hop around this course. Southwick is always a good watch with the whooped out sand and natural hills. The go big or go home mentality of these racers has them thinking one thing: Full throttle or no throttle. [ed. note: Is Danny Stu just bad-assing the fuck out of us with that line or what?]

Throwback Thursdays With Danny Stu – Loretta’s ’07 ft. Stroupe, Izzi, Canard

I’m throwing this one back as far as I can. It’s ’07 Loretta’s, and it’s first decent video I made that some may consider worth a watch. Conveniently enough, it was arguably one of the most stacked classes LL has scene. The A class itself was worth going for. Izzi, Stroupe, and Canard were the big names going at it and despite those names not all being as relevant as it seemed they would be, there is no denying these dudes were on it back in the day. Plenty of guys deserve a mention in this one, and that’s why we’re looking back at it right now, because it’s packed with some of the biggest names to go through the ranks. One thing worth mentioning is the amount of fucks Phil Nicoletti gives about racing with a broken collar bone, which apparently is zero fucks. – @DannyStu_164

Throwback Thursdays With Danny Stu: Barcia and Tomac 2011

People are all about the trendy shit these days, the Follow Fridays on twitter, Snoop Dogg’s Puff Puff Pass Tuesdays, and of course, the Throwback Thursdays. It’s Thursday and we’re throwing it back to a day in July that was way too hot to ride for anyone less boss-like than Justin Barcia and Eli Tomac. Notice in this video there is nobody else riding. Was it too hot for anyone else, or is it a private track where you gotta know people who know people who know people to ride there? Whether it’s one of those reasons or both, they are bosses. This is a statement that can’t be argued at this time, seeing how they just swept the SX Lites titles with time to kill. Never mind the fact that the season isn’t even over, they’re already crowned champs and looking to the outdoors, just as we’re doing. So go on, drive in reverse with your rear view and see what’s ahead of us with this throwback. – @DannyStu_164
