It should be pretty clear to all the regular BRO readers that I appreciate a good moto video. It should also be equally clear that I think most moto videos these days suck (talking to you, internet). Of course, a sea of shit is bound to produce at least a couple of flowers. Again, these are not based on views since that metric heavily favors anything that has been posted recently. Besides, since when does the general public know what’s good? These are a few of MY favorite edits of the year, since I call the shots in moto now:
The Marshall’s by Moto Limelight
Had this been an entirely fair contest, Moto Limelight videos would populate the entire list. I used a ridiculous handicap to get some other video producers on here. This was the best video of the year, not even a question in my mind. If the song bothered you, here’s one that is surely more your style.

If you are familiar with Vurb Moto, then you are probably familiar with Ryan Walters. To be perfectly honest, most of his stuff this year did not have me rushing to get the tissues, but this video was good, and is also the only one focused around one rider, which means something, probably.
Fresh Trailer by Travis Fant
Been a while since this one came out, but it was a great piece of filming and editing. Got my boys AJ Cat and Nick Myers in there, which is always going to get you some bonus points. I think this Fant kid actually works for Motocross Action now. Bummer.
Dream Ride First Look by JDR KTM
This video is the newest on the list. It was fucking sick. This video and the previous one feature a gratuitous use of helicopter shots. Take note, however – Heli shots are only good if you have jumps that look big from a hundred feet away.
Code Red by Wildout Wheelie Boyz
Did anyone really think that one of these vids was not going to make it up here? I have seen every Raise It Up, Wildout Wheelie Boyz, and Harlem Legendz vid out there, and this one is far and away the best. Fuck the quads, fuck the minis, these motherfuckers are ripping 450s and just hop up and crip walk on the seat with a swag that God himself could not stop. I say again that there is no pro rider that could do this shit. And yes I absolutely consider this a moto video.
