Flashback Fridays With Danny Stu

So I was a little off the ball for Throwback Thursday, but it’s all good, because now we have Flashback Friday. This video was one I did back in 2010 with one of the OGs himself, Travis Steward. I myself am not a fan of whomps on whomps on whomps but Travis did work with this one. I didn’t even know what the term “dubstep” meant when this video was done, had no idea what the hell we were listening to. But it ended up being cool and that’s what it’s all about. So whether you are into the Disco Pogo jam or not, bump the shit out of this video and watch the rippers hop around this course. Southwick is always a good watch with the whooped out sand and natural hills. The go big or go home mentality of these racers has them thinking one thing: Full throttle or no throttle. [ed. note: Is Danny Stu just bad-assing the fuck out of us with that line or what?]

Throwback Thursdays With Danny Stu: Barcia and Tomac 2011

People are all about the trendy shit these days, the Follow Fridays on twitter, Snoop Dogg’s Puff Puff Pass Tuesdays, and of course, the Throwback Thursdays. It’s Thursday and we’re throwing it back to a day in July that was way too hot to ride for anyone less boss-like than Justin Barcia and Eli Tomac. Notice in this video there is nobody else riding. Was it too hot for anyone else, or is it a private track where you gotta know people who know people who know people to ride there? Whether it’s one of those reasons or both, they are bosses. This is a statement that can’t be argued at this time, seeing how they just swept the SX Lites titles with time to kill. Never mind the fact that the season isn’t even over, they’re already crowned champs and looking to the outdoors, just as we’re doing. So go on, drive in reverse with your rear view and see what’s ahead of us with this throwback. – @DannyStu_164

The BROtocross Show #1 ft Ami Houde, Ryne Swanberg, DS164

And here we have it, the first BROtocross podcast. It was done in the most sophomoric fashion possible, and is basically insulting to listen to.

Things I learned in making this:

Mac mics are the shit, unless women are involved in the recording. In that case, use a microphone about 60 feet away from them. Or hit mute.
I sound like a bitch on the mic, but I act like a boss in real life so it doesn’t matter.
The garage has a shit ton of feedback
No planning necessary. The prep for this consisted of about three beers and a 30 second conversation. I think it came out in accordance with this prep.
DS164 is the funniest man alive with zero intention of achieving that acclaim.
Chicks dig media moguls. And assholes. I am both.
I will never get tired of making fun of Canada even if it loses me points with Ami Houde. Some things are just worth it.
Uploading a file this long was one of the most challenging endeavors I have undertaken since starting BROtocross.

Merry Christmas From The Massholes

Who else is posting shit on X-mas? Time to mogul up, world. I already gave everyone the gift that keeps on giving with the quad guys sending themselves that much closer to the short bus, but DS164 decided to publish this little number last night, so I figured a second present was appropriate. Mike Sottile and Jake Abbott, two of MA’s sharpest prospects, just doing their damn thing and having more fun than the rest of you. Trust me when I say you will be hearing from both of these BROs in the coming years.

Moto Limelight’s Best Of Jimmy Decotis 2011

Jimmy D video! Jimmy D video! That is pretty much the alert for Moto Limelight getting a shitload of views in the next few days. How many riders just get obedient clicks from the masses just because their name is in the title of a video? It cannot be more than ten, and I think even that is stretching it. Regardless, this is some of the best throwaway footage that you will ever see. Actually, some of these shots made the final cut of their respective videos, but who’s counting? It has finally been announced that Jimmy is on GEICO next year so I get to talk about how he is going to be ripping holeshots in his ever-so-stylish GEICO branded flat color gear that will have even the Victoria’s Secret angels jealous that they could not be strutting that shit down the runway. Watch out for him.
