Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto will not defend his AMA Motocross title in 2012 after injuring his knee at the Seattle supercross on Saturday night. The two-time AMA Supercross and defending AMA Motocross champion will undergo surgery on his knee this week. “I’m pretty disappointed right now,” said Villopoto. “I have trained hard for this season and even though I won the supercross title, I really wanted to defend my outdoor championship. I’ve been through injury before and I know how hard I have to work to get back.”
Lame fall. Knees are such pussies, just tearing and shit. Laziest part of your whole body. Like seriously, BRO, why don’t you get off your ass and do your fucking job holding my leg together? They just expect to be pandered to, waited on hand and foot while the rest of your body is working its balls off to put food on the table. And right when things aren’t going perfectly, they’re just out. Ingrates.
Well, it’s 2010 all over again. Dungey wins. I might even watch the GPs more this year than the nationals. Ok, I won’t, but you get where I’m going with this. Now we have Chad out, VilloJoseph out, and put money on it right now that James will not ride the nationals. The rumors of him being done with JGR are only getting stronger, and since that business deal worked out as well as selling to a crackhead on credit, I do not find it hard to believe that both parties are over it. I say again: There is nothing fun about motocross.
Is it a coincidence that every top rider but the Monster guy got hurt in SX and now every top rider but the Red Bull guy are done for MX? Do the energy drink companies secretly Tanya Harding these guys behind the scenes? Probably not, but I still ask those questions, because I’m different. And a boss.
