A Kingsport man — and amateur motocross legend with factory support from Yamaha — has been arrested after allegedly planting a video camera in a bathroom, recording two juveniles and an adult male as they changed clothes and used the restroom.
Kevin L. Walker, 41, of 405 Dean Street, has been charged with three counts unlawful photographing in violation of privacy. Walker, who was named the 2007 American Motorcyclist Association Sports Veteran of the Year, was arrested Monday.
According to an affidavit filed in Kingsport court, approximately 40 people were at a party at a Kingsport home on July 3. A resident of the home noticed a black backpack in the restroom with a video camera inside. He alerted his parents, who inspected the backpack and removed a memory card within the camera. You know what? I say everyone needs to just deal with this. Not us as racers, but these uptight prudes at the party who cannot handle what we are bringing to the table. Every real racer knows that shit gets WAY out of control when you go to a party with MX riders. We tear up the course, then we tear up the scene like it is going out of style. Always a big mistake to mix MX riders and normal, stable citizens at a party. Seriously, I remember when I was in school, any time moto friends came to town it got out of control. Fights, theft, hidden cameras for some good old home video porn; you know, the usual. The only thing I blame Walker for here is getting caught. What the fuck do you even have a Go Pro for, dude? They are discrete as fuck. They are a pedophiles wet dream (or the source for one, anyway). It is not 1989 anymore, BRO; this whole conspicuous black bag routine went out with Revenge of the Nerds. Unless you are rocking that kind of brain activity, you need to rethink the strategy.
